side effects of the dream catching habit...

Just like my earlier posts, this is not abut any dream i saw. But this is about my experience with the so called "Dream Catching habit". I always try to remember the dreams i see, and i write them in my diary or somewhere, i publish very few in my blog. For last 4 years i have this habit.

This habit, increased my ability to remember dreams. I tried to find the meaning of dreams for a fun. I referred, "dream dictionaries", &i searched the web to read strange dreams from various people.

Lucid dreams, phantasma, still many kinds of dreams i experienced and analyzed. I have heard about "black an white dreams". But til now i did'nt see such a thing.

Now my situation is like this, i see 7 or 8 dreams in a single night's sleep. I can't sleep well due to this. Due to my habit of remembering dreams, each and every thing in the dream remains in my mind very clearly. It upsets me.

Sometimes if i hear about any new word or any new thing, i see dreams about it in the very next sleep. This thing really gets in to my head...!

Journey by a train 2 an incomplete dream...

7th April 2010

Wednesday

yesterday nit, i saw a dream which was about a strange journey in a train. i saw a place( a very beautiful village) in my dream. accidently i reached there. i met 2 peolpe there who helped me.

the dream starts lik this...

i was at the alway (or ernakulam???) railway station.

it ws easy 2 go home by bus. but stil 4 a change i thought 2 catch the train & go 2 tripunitra & 2 home frm dr. i catched 1 train( didnt tk ticket). unlik al the time there was no rush in the train. the compartment was almost empty. 4 or 5 people wr sitting here & dr. i searchd 2 sit somwr alone. then dr i saw my friend "DIDHIN" sitting dr reading a book. we 2 becam hapy 2 c each othr.

i askd him wr he's gng. He told he's on the way 2 trivandrum. i told him y i got in to this train.he told this tain wont go through Tripunitra. Hearng this i changd my plan 2 gt down at CHERTHALA.

we started talking each other. train passd through many stops. i dont knw the exact station wr i shld leav. wen it stopd at 1 station i felt lik i saw the board "CHERTHALA".

my friend told, if this is cherthala then train wil stop here 4 just 2 mins. By hearng this i rushed out by sayng bye 2 him. frm this station i saw it's becomng crowded in the compartment.

it ws very rush, so tht i found it difficult 2 get out of the train. the train startd moving slowly, now i made a struggle & jumped out of the train....the train left the station...i watched it leaving..

aftr the train left, i watched around. i found this station is not "CHERTHALA" but in the board i saw som strang name.( i dont remember the name of tht place). i cudnt even pronounce the name(it was a malayalam word written in English). But it ws the 1st tim, i'm hearng such a place name in kerala. i was confusd by thnkng wat 2 do next...

i saw som people stayng here & dr at the station. i approachd 1 man( 1 bald headed old man, may be som 50-55 agd) & asked him

" Which is this place"?

"can't u read the board?" he replied bak...

again, i askd him. "which is the nearest town from here"?

now he said som name. tht was also a new name 4 me....

i again askd..

"other town near 2 this place...?"

now he made a look at me & askd me bak..

"where do u want 2 go...?"

i told "ernakulam"

"it's 2 and half hrs journey by bus 2 ernakulam from here"

hearng this i didnt understand wat al happened til now & how i reachd this strange place...

"wen's the next bus"? i askd..

"6.45 " he replid..

i chkd tim in my mobile it's now abt 6pm..

"wr's the bus stop"

he explaind me by sayng 2 go there, left, righ, straight and smthng smthng...i didnt understand wat al he said...

i told him "i'm 1st tim in this place, i dont knw this place, so can u help me in reaching bus stop"

" i already told u the way, now just go through it..." he replied..

now i started walking leavng him..aftr 5 mins i reachd in frnt of a house wr i saw a man standng in front of the gate. i askd him 4 help 2 reach the bus top. tht man understood my situtation.

"ur coming ths place 4d 1st time?" he askd...

"yaa.." i replid.

he lead me through som way...then only i noticed. til then i didnt c not even a single tared road in tht place. it was a pur village. we walked though som ways...

on the way i saw a pond full of water, which has atleast a 40-50 white lotus & blue coloured water lillies...tht was really very very beautiful. the pond was very neat & clear watrd..

again while walking, i saw som canals. very clear & neat water ws flowng though them & som white birds wer flying above the canals..i saw a very big paddy field full of water lillies & lotuses..

now we stopd walking, wen we reached beside a canal.

tht man told me.

" now we should cross this canal"

we stayd dr 4 a minute or 2. then i saw tht old bald headed man, whom i saw in the railway station, cam dr wit a boat. It ws a very smal boat. only 1 person can cros the canal at a time.

i crosd the canal 1st. then wen i looked bak, i saw both of them swimming across the canal.

they also reached this side. and we 3 started walking. the tim was 6.30 then.

now while walking i saw a very big temple, infront of it, a ground with pure white sands...

the temple was decorated..it seemd lik som festival is gng on dr...we pased tht temple.

now i saw a small township lik area. there i saw a small bus stand.

i saw a bus 2 ernakulam ws abt 2 leav. They askd me 2 get in to that bus.

i got in & wavd my hands 2 them, smiled & said thanks 2 them...

they smiled and wavd their hands...

the bald headed man said bye 2 me...

the other man cam near the bus & told me..

"wen u reach home safely, make us knw it by makng a call 2 me ok..."?

i said "suer, i wil call u.."

bus started moving...

we said bye 2 each other...

but how 2 make him knw...& how 2 call him?

i dont hav his number. He 2 dont hav my number".

i looked bak from the bus. i saw the are walking away by talking 2 each other...

it may be about me they rae talking...

now 2 and half hours 2 home...

i just fell asleep in the bus...wen i wok up, i knew stil dr's 1 more hour 2 reach home.

suddenly i noticed my father siting in front of the bus.

i went & sit beside him.....

{ i dont remember the rest of this dream. or may be this dream was complete wit just this much

incidents....but wen i opened my eyes it was 10.30 in the morning. i dont usually sleep beyond 8.30. 2dy i hav class at colleg. but i didnt go. i wil leav 2 hostel 2dy evng only. wat ever it is , i wish if i cud see the rest of this dream...}

3rd March 2008

yesterday nit, i had a dream. i dont remember it fully, but i felt it really very gud.
i remember almost al part of it. i ws very very tired ystrdy i dont knw why. i ws at my hostel. it ws raining & there was lightning outside. i kept watching it until i sleep. meanwhile i ws talking with my room mate "SOCHIN". time was abt 2.00 am. dont knw wen fell asleep.next morning i remembered the dream i had last nit....
In the dream, i think me&many(some) from my college were in a building or bunglow, which seemed like a castle. i think it had 4 floors.(i'm nt sure abt it). but i think we wer in the 1st floor & the ground floor. we wer staying dr as a part of som program from the college(arts fest or smthng lik tht). there wr many strangers from some other colleges. i ws talking with some gals in my class/colleg. then after something funny happened between us, i ran upstairs by hearing their laughter. the steps to the next floor were white and very smooth and were very good to see. they were made of white marbles. the steps were very spacious. many people were standng dr and talking 2 each other. most of them wr strangers 2 me. sudenly, while i was running upstairs some one cald me.
That was a girl. i looke at her strangly. but she began talking 2me in a way tht, it seemed i'm familiar 2 her. i becam confusd abt ths 4 a while. i tried 2 remember her. but i couldnt at tht time. but i felt tht, i knw her. But hw & whr i couldnt remember. stil i trid 2 remembr smthng.
Nw i gt a vauge idea. i knw her. i mean i had seen her many times b4. it ws durng the school youth festivals, i used 2 participat til 10th std. i had seen her in the youth festivals durng 7th,8th,9th&10th std. but stil i forgot her name. she askd me abt my other friends i had at tht time. smthng abt myself & many many othr things. but i didnt reply 2 any of her talks. and i didnt ask her anythng too. she continued talking wit me, i continud listening 2 her. we walkd upstairs while talking. In the 1st floor i saw som of my frndz(George, elvis & som othrs) sitting dr talking 2 each other & playing cards.
i tried 2 introduce my friends 2 her. i introduced George & Elvis by sayng dr names 2 her. but at tht time they didnt mind neither me nor her. they didnt even lookd at us. i becam surpraisd by dr this behaviour. she too didnt mind them & didnt even looked at them, instead just made a look at me, frm her eyes i felt i did smthng foolish at tht tim or i did smthng tht's nt fair at the moment. then she she looked at me & smild & then walked out of the room. i followed her. even at this time she & they didnt even lookd each other. she was a beautiful gal.
we walkd dwnstairs talking each other watching the strangers dr...

the next morning i felt really very happy & felt very peace of mind. the dream was really gud. the gal was also very gud&pretty. but even in the dream i forgot 2 ask her name...


(actually in real life, i knew many faces which i meet only once or twice in an year only durng subdistrict/district school youth festivals. i had met & talked& became frnd wit a gal (while i ws in 7th,8th&9th std...)
we wr frnds who meet every year & bid bye by sayng "see u next year". but after 10th std my +2 was in ernakulam district. so now i wont meet tht girl ever again. coz school youth festivals ended wit 10th std)

WHEN WE GET WARNED BY OUR DREAMZ

the dream nw i'm going tel u al was a noticable 1 in my life....wat 2 say 2 express it fully...
anyway just read it....

I don't remembr xactly wen i had this dream...i think b4 2 or 3 yrs...or i thnk durng the end of my 1st & 2nd sem(1st yr vacation) of Btech...i remembr most of the dream stil now...
in the dream i was at one side of a big ground..it was a ground with white sands and som trees here and dr...2 ponds wer in that ground...tht ground seemed lik the same ground beside my home...
i wanted 2 cross the ground...thus i started walking acros the ground...eventhough it was not tht much a big ground i felt, i need a lot of tim 2 cross it...aftr somtim, i saw SNAKES lying here&dr in the ground...REALY LONG BLACK SNAKES. they wr moving gently..as i ws walking, i saw more and more snakes...i wondered y i'm taking this much time 2 cross this ground...but i continued walking...now i started seeing more& more snakes, i found it difficult 2 put a step witout touching my feet on a snake...but i smhw managed 2 pas through them...but at 1st i didn't c this much of SNAKES in this ground...aftr smtim i reached at the other side of the ground...dr was a small canal on the other side...i had 2 jump across it 2 pass through it...but i saw a BIG FAT HUGE SNAKE on the other side...i feard 2 jump on seeing it..but by then the snakes on this side of the canal seemed becmng violent...so i jumpd across tht canal...unexpectdly i fell over that big1 on the other side...but 2 my suaprise...it didn't harm me...i really get surpraised by this...


aftr this dream...many times wen i walk or rid on my bike, unexpectedly smtimes i saw a snake on my way...wen this happened 3 or 4 times...i started searching 4 d meaning of this dream...
aftr askng many people who hav knowldge in the matter of dreamz & aftr reffering DREAM DICTIONARIES i found the meaing....

it was a warning 4 me sayng tht, "U WIL SUFFER AN UNEXPECTED BETRAYAL FROM SOMONE WHOM U TRUST VERY MUCH" it was almost correct...one of my college mate whom i was thinking as my best betrayed me in sm way....may be this is just coincidence...but i had such a dream...y i had, on the correct time, wen i needed 2 be warned...

my dream...

hai every1..
last nit i hd a dream...i thought 2 tel u it...it felt realy strange 4 me...
as usual i 4gt 80% of the dream...it was lik hearing different
different stories with in a short tim...
tht means it had many many incidents in it;most of them wer not
related 2gthr...but among tht i remember one part...

it was my cousns home very near 2 my house.....the time was abt by
noon...i felt it was abt 1.00-2.00 pm noon(in the dream).We 3
were(me,my cousn brothr who is eldr 2 me & my youngr cousn brothr)
standing beneath a mango tree in his house...(This mango tree is very
special...its mango never hav bitrng taste at any stage of tis groth
tim ..its called priory mango one mango costs 5 to 10 Rs)
This tree ws besid a pond and a wel;there was not much water in the
pond since its summer...
suddenly while v wer looking a mango fell down in to the pond....

To our surpraise immediatly aftr falling in to the water tht mango
startd showing som big changes in its shape & size...it seemed lik
degrading...and it sinking and coming above the water continusly...i
felt it very very strange....then in som while;
infront of our eyes...tht mango started changing 2 a fish...
gradually it got changed 2 a fish...a medium sized fish...but it was
not over yet...
tht fish startd changing its colour..gradually tht fish changed in to
a blue colourd 1...
a really beautiful blue coloured fish...its was very much beautiful
fish,so tht then we didn't think abt all the incidents happened till
then...
i got in to the pond...put my hands in to the water...
surpraisngly unlik other fishes this fish came in to my hands....i
took it in my hands, a little water ws in my hands, tht fish stayed in
the water in my hands...tht fished startd shrinking its siz....on
seeing this my eldr cousn told me "there r similiar incidents in the
stories of Mahabharatha..."
by this tim all the water in my hands was drawn down...so tht i
decided 2 put this fish back in the pond...i didn't throw it...i
slowly get dwn in the pond...and slowly put it in the water....
tht creature went into to the water....then again came 2 the water
surface....then again went dwn 2 the water....we 3 looked each other
in surpraise....

Now we took a mango frm the same mango tree & threw it into the
pond...and waited 4 somtime..
but nothing did happen...

this was really strange 4 me...i felt lik seeing som old stories tht
som 1 had told me in d earlier old days....
